MAKING PROCESS

CNC router file

CNC routing in progress

Finished CNC routed front panel

Laser cut inserts which will be glued into the slots in order to disperse the light.

Mock up of box with MDF- instead of a flat rectangular box we experimented with a sloped box in order to decrease the protrusion from the wall.

Panels were cut out of oak

Strengthening glued corners with brackets

A space for the multi box was cut out of the top panel.

Side, bottom and top panels glued and clamped to front, routed panel

Multi-box inserted and hot glue gunned down

Laser cut oak veneer to cover plug panel

Oak veneer attached with spray glue. Final sanding before varnishing

Air blasting
